We’ve all seen Nick Misani’s gorgeous and mind bogglingly complex Fauxsaic creations and we’ve all thought, “there is no chance in hell that I could pull that off”. Well, I think you can.
I’ve made this video which will show you the basic process, which is very basically cutting up your design into tiny bits, and then making those tiny bits look like tiles.
I’ve also made a brush pack which has a ton of cool ready made mosaic designs which I use as fillers, because your Fauxsaic-ed words will only take up some of your format, and they save a bunch of time.
